Your Data In Wotzal

Wotzal operates a policy of requesting and storing minimal personal data.

You do not need to provide an email address to register. If you do register without an email address, we cannot help you regain access if you forget your password.

We strongly recommend that you do not use any personally identifiable information in your username.

Wotzal does track anonymous general usage using Google Analytics (we don't connect usage in Google Analytics with user accounts on Wotzal).

Children and Wotzal

When users register they are asked to confirm whether or not they are over the age of 16. If they are under 16, their email address is not stored in a readable format. We hash it, which means we cannot extract see the user's email address, and neither can anybody else who ever gains access to our database.

Wotzal includes no communication functionality between users, so no users, children or otherwise, can speak to other users on Wotzal.
